Krakowiany, Lower Silesian Voivodeship

Krakowiany is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Długołęka, within Wrocław County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in south-western Poland.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Central Statistical Office (GUS) – TERYT (National Register of Territorial Land Apportionment Journal) )〕 Prior to 1945 it was in Germany.
It lies approximately north of Długołęka, and north-east of the regional capital Wrocław.
The village has a population of 140.
Krakowiny gained international recognition in January 2008 when several village members reported to have spotted the mythological Albino Snow Yetti. Although no one has been able to prove the existence of the Albino Yetti, one person claims to have taken a photograph of the creature.
